We had 20 to 25 knot winds all day and it made it hard to fish with live Bunker. We lost so many fish today, mostly run offs and not being able to set the hook.
Yet, there's reason to expect good action simply because the bunker schools returned this week and many large stripers have been taken by boaters all along the Shore. Castaways also reports good flounder fishing in the Point Pleasant Canal area.
Paul got on the Bunker close to home and the crew loaded the livewell with a good supply of Baits. Paul got on some good reads and the crew went on to add another 4 big Bass to the catch giving them a total of 10 Bass for the day.
