    Fishing and weather were both good the past couple of days. GREAT weather on tap for the next four or five days with light winds so take advantage and put some fish away for the holidays.

    12-18-14 NIce day out with only a light crowd,we picked away at the fish today,some nice ones as you can see in the pics below,Whites and greens did work,and high hooks had a limit of togs,or five ish,Some had 1,23,couple of guys struggled a bit,so overall a decent day with some nice moments but the fish were very picky at times. Tomorrow is looking alot like today with nice west winds to keep it flat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    N. J. Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council member Chris reports the sea bass catch numbers from the last survey wave are high enough that we may be facing a 33 percent cut in quota next year. Bob Matthews, at Fisherman's Den in Belmar Marina, reports blackfish up to over 12 pounds plus a few ling, sea bass and lots of dogfish from offshore trips while striper fishing has been tough in the surf.

    Today we ran an open boat Tog trip and the first wreck had a quick blast of fish and then it slowed up. It was looking like it might be one of those days, but on the last drop of the day it was lock and load fishing.

    Lots of nice fish came over the rail and a great day was had by all!December 6Shawn, Traci, Joe, Tom, Terry, and Tom were aboard The Bomb today for an open boat striper trip. Fishing was fantastic as the guys boxed a limit of beautiful bass during a great early morning bite.
