7 5 Fluke Report Sunday, 05 July 2015 20 44 Written by Capt. Jack It was a nice weather day today but the fishing was slow for us today. The fares did land a few nice quality fish today but just not enough them.
Most of the stops we pulled some nice keeper fluke over the rail along with some knucklehead sea bass. Jill had high hook with four keepers fluke up to 5 lbs., some others went home with 1-3 keepers, as usual the short fluke gave you action during the day .
Busy day yesterday with the Fireworks didn't get to post. .Had a very nice 7. 4 pound pool fish. Fished several area's, some produced better than others with quality Fluke, including the pool fish at 6. 8 pounds!
Good percentage of 3-5 pound Fluke in the mix and not as many throwbacks as in late June. Pool winners have been averageing around 6 - 6 1 2 pounds and a good percentage of the Seabass being caugfht are 2 1 2 to 4 1 2 pounds.
