    Our Cod charter from Point pleasant NJ today had a great day on the water. I jigged up a nice market sized keeper cod that lost a nice jig to the wreck .

    We will be watching the weather forecasts and attempting to fish any weather windows that open for cod, and then on April 1 we will begin targeting tog. The other options that allow for more fishing time reduce the bag limit to 10 fish which is a no win situation because once you give them up, you don't get them back.

    We were allotted a paltry 2. 3 million pound quota last year, and whoever concocts the numbers as to what we caught somehow construed that the New England states(with bag limits ranging from only 3 fish per man to 8 fish per man) caught 1. 9 million pounds. while the rest of the mid Atlantic caught 1. 4 million pounds!     Seminar Season is over for us and the crew has begun what we consider the beginning of our 2015 Season - B I with a good start as Capt. Deane Lambros just boated an 85 Giant I B - and better than that we had a Military Vet out with us!But before we get into the fishing and hopefully filling this page with a bunch of great shots of giants on the deck - I want to thanks each and every one who attended, spoke and worked our 2015 Seminars. First and foremost the attendees - between AC and NY we saw 850 offshore fisherman and enjoyed spending time with each and everyone of you.
