    MON, 5 23 UPDATE Only made the AM trip today, action on the throwbacks and some decent keepers, a real short ride from the dock, ha ha!You can fish on other boats, but you will not be part of the experiences that only happen on the DOROTHY B.     05 23 16 We ended up with some keepers for the day but the bite was not up to par with what we had over the weekend. We spent the day in the bay finding a few nice fish in several different areas and we had our best fishing late in the day.

    Capt. Deane Lambros ran the Canyon Runner from Point Pleasant out to Lindenkohl Canyon on Friday for a day troll charter only to find 61-to-63-degree waters that were too cool for yellowfin tuna -- but good enough for 35-to-50- pound bluefins. Saturday's bucktailing for fluke that provided good action during last year's opening was poor this time.

Sunday saw slower fishing with some nice blues being caught.
