Today's fishing was off from what we have been seeing lately due to the strong south wind which kept our catch down with not as many keepers, shorts or trash fish as we have been catching recently. Michael Satus, Old Bridge, NJ, took home a couple of keepers including a 5 pound 8 ounce fish.
6-7-15 Wow,what a really pretty day out there today. Started out with some nice sea bass coming over the rail, along with some nice ling. .Not fast fishing just a slow pick around the boat,,some of the guys were dialed in and banging away at em. .Even had a couple of nice fluke come up as well. Eventually the drift picked up and we had to start anchoring,,still we picked,,some nice shots at big sea bass, some of em big doubles. but it seemed the middle of the boat did best,,high hook had a limit plus of sea bass along with some ling. Some just did not have the luck today and only had a few keepers but alot had 5-10 keeper bass along with some ling. Not a bad day out at all,,check out some pics!!!

We had a nice group fishing with us today, a lot of action from the short fluke, the ratio of shorts to keeper fluke was about fifteen to one, so it kept you busy. See you in the morning, we leave at 7 30 AM. FLUKE FISHING MARATHON on Tuesday June 9 from 7 00 am to 4 00 pm.
Loads of seabass, lots of keepers and a good amount of shorts were on a couple of pieces we fished here. Finished the day with a boat limit of seabass (105), 1 pollock, 1 cod, and (shockingly) only 1 ling.
