Striped bass seemed to almost completely disappear after Monday's southerly storm, but there was at least a bit of good news from one Thanksgiving morning party boat trip. LBI Fishing Report 11 26 2014 Hi Folks, just got word from Captain Frank that the Thanksgiving day trip is canceled due to the weather and those interested in the weekend Trip should call the day before to check if conditions improved enough to sail. Also this will be our last weekend fishing this year as we are heading up in the boatyard for the winter.

The Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands has posted a 6 30 to noon trip. The Jamaica had a very good offshore wreck trip on Sunday, as there were sea bass limits for all plus porgies and some cod and pollock.
We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving surrounded by family, good friends and great food. You know when your spouse comes home after a bad day at work and you say how was your day and the response is I don't want to talk about it , well that sums up today's fishing.
