Some bigger keepers, lots more throwbacks and good action as temps push into the sixties - hope it stays there with more south wind coming. Dan Weeks Trenton and Brian Phelder Washington, NJ had limits up to 5 lbs Pics are coming Hopefully the uptick in action will continue, it should if water temps hold Bucktailing has worked best when the drift has been slow but dragging baits better when the wind blows.
Today was no different with 3 fish topping the 7 pound mark. The pool fish went to young Dominick Marretta, Totowa, N. J. at 7 pounds 7 ounces followed by Tom Krako's 7 pound 5 ounce fish (second seven pound fish for Tom this week, only to be a Bridesmaid once again!!)
Bottom fishing in the DEEP has been EXCELLENT with good catches of cod to 30 , loads of ling, and plenty of jumbo winter flounder to 3. Friday 7 11's trip was a real good day, as we had a load of ling (almost 200), plus 4 keeper cod and 8 flounder.
