Hey folks, we started out the day today with good action and some keepers then the tide changed and we had wind against again for the rest of the morning. Captain Jimmy covered ground for us again today and we found a drift towards thevend of the day.

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 18 18 August 2014 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips today from the Atlantic Highlands marina. On the afternoon trip the conditions were better and so was the fishing.
Last we have Downtown Jordon Brown of Manahawkin, NJ, who won with a nice 4-lb fluke, and a special winner was Macy Ryan (10 years old), who took everyone's money on a fluke trip Sat evening with the BHM TC, it was a 4. I would like to thank Patty from Anexinet, it again was a outstanding trip, fishing was good but the catching was slow, the weather couldn't get any better and everyone had a blast, hope to see you again next year, thanks, Patty.
8 18 Fluke Report Tuesday, 19 August 2014 17 00 Written by Capt. Jack Hey Gang, Today we hosted a kids charter with the Sephardic group from Oakhurst NJ. The kids had a blast picking away at shorts with a few keepers in the mix.
Around midday we netted his 13 POUND 2 OUNCE fish which was his biggest ever and the SECOND LARGEST fluke ever caught aboard the EBII!!Good conditions next few days so lets who will be next to catch their personal best fluke.
8-18-14 Very flat, very calm, not much action to start fish wise this morning, after a few drifts only a few keepers came up. Some guys had some fish in the back and a few up the sides but not good for most of the crowd,You really had to work at it today get into the fish, again the conditions did not help most.
Some have made vicious attacks verbally and sworn to erase his name from the leader board, yet Doug Kay still appears the same way it was written in black marker on the first day of the month. Dennis Bonk was high hook with 4 keepers and Al Skowronski won the pool with a 6 pound fluke.
Some very nice fish today!Finished up with a nice float and a good short of shorts and keepers, some beauties including 3 caught by Joe Andrew, Woodland Park, N. J. Joe's largest took today's pool at 8 pounds on the money!
The guys that bucktailed caught a lot more then the bait guys because of the wind against tide conditions we have had the last 4 days. Good thing about this week is the conditions will be right and we should have no problem drifting so come on down the fishing should be good.
