Well we went out today with high hopes. I made a sweep of some areas looking for fish on top to jig, only to find nothing. we put the bait on and made a long drift and had one nice keeper. I received a call telling me lots of bird life out to the east. It was a far ride but not seeing much local it sounded good so I went. When we got there the birds were everywhere it looked like we were going to catch them. To make a long story short we caught nothing. I tried a few more drops local and caught one short. Hopefully tomorrow we can get some revenge.  See you soon, Capt. Rob
