Gorgeous Day on the water. With a giant swell left over from yesterday's storm I headed off the beach in search of. After 2 hours of looking and loosing 1 bluefish near the boat. I tried a wreck close by and we picked at Cod & Pollack on the jigs. Justin had a 15 pound cod along with a short cod. Though the action was not crazy, we did manage to keep everyone interested. Most drifts produced 2-4 fish. We ended up with 16 keeper cod and 10 keeper pollack. We threw back almost as many short cod and pollack. With the swell quickly diminishing I expect to be able to fish the beach and hopefully the Blues and some Bass will cooperate
