1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

A few really nice days have helped us get the Queen ready for the season.  Our official sea trial went well. Worked down the beach changing RPM's every 10 minutes all the way up to full throttle.  It's a bit scary to push them up all the way!  On the pins the best we saw was 19.5KT. The old girl was humming right along there for a while.  The cruise speed will now be very competitive.  The Queen picked up speed while burning similar amount of fuel.  The water is very cold and I do not see us starting any earlier than April 26.  If the fish are not here we will push it another week.
