Weekend Wrap Up July 23rd and 24th

Fluke fishing has been getting better everyday!  Green and nuclear chicken gulps have been catching most of the keepers on the boat the past couple of days!  Anglers using squid and spearing have been catching a few as well but they get lots of shorts too.  Pool winners have around 4 or 5lbs.

Night Bluefishing was tough for us over the weekend!  We picked some 1-2lb fish on Saturday night but was not good by any means. I did read alot of them but the way the current was running, they we tough to hook!  We tried a different area to the south of us on Sunday and only caught a few. These fish should be back here any day. Once we get off the downside of the moon we should start catching them good. Hopefully in another week or two, the big blues will show up. This is the time they usually start to funnel in here.
