08/08/16 We had the best of our fishing the past couple of days in the ocean in some of the traditional August areas. There has been a nice mix of keepers and shorts in areas where there were no fish just a week ago so the fish are moving around as would be expected right now. David Hahn, Long Branch, NJ, took the Sunday pool and Jim Fells, Midland Park, NJ, took the pool today with one of his keepers. As we mentioned last week be sure to bring a second rod that can handle heavier sinkers--just in case! Weather looks nice all week.
