Captain's Focus

Report for the week of July 1 - 7.
Bob Costello of Bethlehem, PA., Frank Servocky of Drexel Hill, PA.,
Fred Laag of Goodview, VA., Neil Kosilla of North Cape May, NJ.,
Greg Caruso of Phila, PA., and Joe Billups of Blackwood, NJ., all
took Pools aboard the SEA STAR III this week. Bob, Frank, and Joe
won with Fluke weighing in at 3lb, 3.5lb, and 3lbs respectively. Fred,
Neil, and Greg won with Sea Bass weighing in at 3lb, 3lb, and 2lbs
respectively.  CONGRATULATIONS!

Again the SEA STAR III spent time in the Ocean and the Bay. Strong tides
and South winds made for some tough fishing conditions. Swift drifts had us
using up to 16 ounce sinkers and some trips that wasn't enough! As you
can see when we kept the baits on the bottom and weren't flying, we
caught a few fish like the one's above. We also found some great sized
Porgies one day and to finish out the week we fished the Rips and added
another Drumfish to this years total. This Drum weighed in at 70lbs and
was the first Drumfish  Charles (my son) has ever caught. It was one of
5 Drum that we had hooked up. Sadly the other 4 got away. It was exciting
anyway. As summer rolls on, I hope that all of you are well and will get
down to see us soon. Until then, I will leave you with more photos of this
week's action and remind you that YOU should be up here with your catch!
Thanks for checking in......
