Another nice day to be on the blackfish grounds. We had a good start to the day for the first couple hours where we fished yesterday. When the tide changed and the current picked up the fish got finicky with a scratchy bite for the second half of the day. NOT the red hot fishing we had yesterday but we still ended up with a couple of limits and others with four and five keepers each. Mostly everyone had at least a couple of keepers to take home for the upcoming holidays. Green and white crabs both worked equally well once again. We had our first couple mackeral of the fall on bare hooks today. Mike Naipawer, Bloomingdale, NJ, took the pool with a very nice 13 pound tog. See you in the morning.
