Captain's Focus

Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. Well we certainly didn't have the great fishing that we had yesterday. Although, myself, Donnie, Rob and Brian worked very hard for our customers today to put fish in the boat. We made 3 or 4 drops today and we had a pretty good bite going for about 30-40 minutes with keepers and shorts and then wouldn't you know it - we lost the tide. There were a lot of boats out on the grounds today and I did see a lot of party and charter boats moving around. We ended the day with around 13 or 14 keepers and dropped several fish that we had on and probably released 30 short striped bass. I saw some regulars in the back doing pretty well, Kevin and Robin and I saw regular Jason land some real nice stripers. Mark Hrab of Byram, NJ was today's pool winner with a 22lber. It was a nice day out on the water for sure. Capt. Robbie is going out on the second trip with the Prowler5 on the 3:30 - 9:00 trip. Hopefully he can find the fish that I had going when I lost the tide. We have people coming for both trips tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you Sunday. Thx., Capt. Scott.
