The winds weren't moderate today, and the breezy conditions made for lumpy seas offshore along with very cold temperatures. Yet, the Ocean Explorer from Belmar reported good bottom life out there even though it was mostly bergalls along with short tog and small cod. The pool winner was 7 pounds, and one angler manged two keepers.They'll be at it again on Sunday in hopefully better conditions. The Big Mohawk from that port didn't get out today, but will sail tomorrow.
