2013-07-04 - Yellowfin Tuna Bite Strong Again in June
Once again, now 3 years in a row, June has brought some of the best Yellowfin Tuna Fishing of the season. The weather has been quite challenging, so we have not been out nearly as much as last season, but for the most part, when we've gone it has been very good. Our last trip produced 16 tuna for the fishbox and another 12 or so released. There have been Big Eyes caught here and there as well. The Bluefin are now moving into the inshore lumps, so over the next couple weeks, is a great time to think about getting in a bluefin trip. Last July we had our best inshore Yellowfin Chunk Bite in a long, long time, with lots of limit catches of quality 40-60 pound yellowfin on light tackle. We are hoping for a repeat. All signs are that we are in for another great July. Please give us a ring to set up a trip!

Tight Lines,
Capt. Trey
