New Jersey Shark Fishing in Full Swing

Sunday's Shark Fishing Trip produced steady action all day.  Setting up just inside the 20 Fathom curve, we drifted about 5 miles throughout the course of the day.  The first bite came about an hour and a half into the day and we had our first Blue Shark release of the trip.  In total we caught 3 Makos and 6 Blue Sharks.  We fought and lost several others including the bruiser of the day, which we never saw, but definitely a big fish.  This near shore action should continue for about another 10 days or so. Offshore the Mako's are biting good as well, and an overnight trip right allows for tuna during the day and great chances at bigger Makos at night. if you are considering a shark fishing trip, now's the time.
