2009-02-25 - Catch dinner before our Buisness meeting... would ya
Had a great group from Canada in today that touched ground at 945 am. After getting checked in and a quick breakfast we pushed off at 12. All these guys wanted to do was catch some fresh fish for dinner and be back at the dock at 245 for a meeting. We were greeted by some choppy seas but the dolphin were biting . The water temp is still hovering around 72 degrees. Surprisingly the wahoo were not to be found today as I pounded the edge looking for them . We just had another cold front pass through and sometimes it takes a day or two to get them going. We ran into some nice size dolphin however on the north side of Guana again going 4-7 in our short time fishing. The dolphin were not aggressively feeding today as they just kept nosing the bait so freespooling was the key as Thomas did a great job getting them to eat. We are back at it again tomorrow for another couple hours . I expect the wahoo bite to improve tomorrow .
