Great Fishing This Week in NJ/MD, Bahamas & Florida Keys

New Jersey & Maryland
Seems the offshore season is likely coming to an end, and we are beginning to concentrate our fishing on the inshore grounds. The early Striped Bass fishing has been very good, and we've been fortunate to have great Sea Bass and Blue fishing as well. Often times, we have to wait until well into November for these fishing conditions to emerge, but we've got outstanding inshore action already. On one recent trip, Captains Joe and Thomas ventured out just off the beach of Avalon and quickly got into the Striper action, winding up with 7 all together . The fish were all between 30 and 35 inches. After a half day of productive Striper Fishing they decided to stop on an inshore wreck for some early season Tog, easily catching our limit in very shallow water, with the biggest going 21 inches. Current Tog limits only allow one fish per man until November 15th. They fished the same wreck for close to 2 hours catching and releasing well over 100 Tog, sometimes two at a time. The Sea Bass fishing is also quite good already with fish to 7 pounds being caught, and limits of 25 per person. Anyone looking for a fun Fall fishing trip, now is the time for some mixed bag fishing for Tog, Sea Bass, Stripers and Tog. Make sure you bring your cooler!

Bahamas Fishing Update
Over in the Bahamas, we are getting great reports of an early season Wahoo bite. It seems the wahoo fishing has been excellent on numerous islands, with some Yellowfin and Dolphin mixed in.  As is always the case this time of year in the Bahamas, you never know exactly what you are going to catch. It is quite possible to catch just about everything in the late Fall, including Billfish. Few people fish this time of year, and the weather is typically quite good. Low Profile will be getting an early start this season, and is available starting the 3rd week of November in the Abacos. Remember we are also available for all the Wahoo Tournaments and Bahamas Billfish Championship Series this year! LOW PROFILE expects to be docked at Bakers Bay in Guana Cay before Thanksgiving, after a quick stop in Marsh Harbour. If you are traveling to the Abacos for vacation this winter, definitely give us a ring!

Florida Keys Fishing

THATS RIGHT arrived back in Islamorada this past week, and quickly got right back in the game here in the Florida Keys. The weather is absolutely fantastic this time of year, and like the Bahamas, the fishing is exceptional right now. We were lucky enough to get in on a great early season Sailfish bite on our first trip out, releasing 6 on a short half day trip. Besides the Sailfish, the King Mackerel are around in good numbers and in on the reef the Yellowtail are hungry as hardly anyone is feeding them right now! Anyone looking for a quick Fall get-away, should jump on a plane and get down here, as things couldn't be better. Great deals on hotels are easy to find this time of year, before the main season kicks off with the Christmas holiday.
