2007-05-21 - Florida Keys, Bahamas, Oregon Inlet Fishing Report
In the Florida Keys Mahi season has finally started with decent gaffers and schoolies. We are still catching Permit in the 40lb. range, with live crabs on the Eagle wreck. Also on the reef are Flag Yellowtails (3-5lbs.) and we are expecting a great Mutton bite on this next full moon. The Justified is up in Oregon Inlet N.C. and was able to get out this week and bring back Yellow Fins up to 50lbs. Gaffer dolphin and wahoos are also biting. In the Bahamas the "Low Profile" has been doing well with the Yellow Fins in San Sal. They have even seen some Blue Marlin bites and released a nice one earlier this week. They also report a good mahi bite. We are pleased to announce the launching of 50' custom built Evans the "That's Right". This is a USCG Inspected Vessel, she is able to take up to 12 passengers. The "That's Right" is in her slip at the Ocean City Fishing Center awaiting her maiden voyage on May 26th. Call OUA to book for Summer 2007.
