On our most recent NJ charter, the OVER UNDER released a GIANT blue marlin, estimated by Captain Pete at between 800 and 900 pounds. Several trips to the canyon produced mixed results. White marlin were seen on almost every trip, with several being released. On one trip the OVER UNDER got into a great yellowfin trolling bite catching 7 from 50-80 pounds. The OVER UNDER made its debut in the Mid Atlantic 500 Tournament this year, and came back to the dock with a 3rd place white marlin, weighing in at 71#. This share of 3rd place was good for a payout of almost $19,000. Two days later, the crew released one 11/2 inches longer than the one weighed in..oh well.
