The crew of the Over Under ran it's last trip out of Hawks Nest Marina this past weekend, hoping to take advantage of the new moon and the calm seas to raise a few Blue Marlin. As it turned out the fishing was a bit slower than earlier in the month, but the group managed to go 3-6 on Blue Marlin over three days. Two fish were estimated at #125, while one was estimated at about #350. In between billfish bites, the group managed to catch about a dozen tuna, but most were smaller throwbacks, except for a few that were brought back for dinner.
The Over Under now heads to Harbor Island to fish a billfish tournament this coming weekend, before heading back to the states for a quick maintenance stop, and its run up the coast to it's Summer home in Avalon, NJ. Look for one final season wrap up report from the Over Under, reporting in on this weekend's tournament results and a few fun fishing days in Rum Cay shortly thereafter.
