Captain's Focus

2004-04-26 - The dolphin were thick, and the group boated all they wanted.
Capt. Pete Fischer had the Sid Miller group out for a weekend of fishing at Cat Island this past week. The dolphin were thick, and the group boated all they wanted. The aggressive fish ranged from 10-25#'s. on day two, a dozen were boated and then the rest were released. Only one billfish sighting over the three day trip...a white that decided not to cooperate. Several large tuna and wahoo were lost to the sharks, while several smaller ones were boated. On the drop, the group found a nice mix of yellow eye and black snapper in 600' off of the leward side of Cat Island. This week the Over Under will be hosting George Poveromo, from ESPN outdoors, for 3 days fishing out of Hawks Nest on Cat Island. We'll be sure to pass along the results. For now, tight lines, Capt. Trey and the Crew of the Over Under
