There were no boat reports today, but there should be several boats sailing on Thursday.
Capt. Rob Semkewyc says tomorrow is a go for striper jigging on the Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands, and he also expects to have fishable weather through Saturday.
The Golden Eagle from Belmar will be winding up their striper season with Thursday's trip. After that they'll be waiting for mackerel to show up later in the month.
Capt. Stan Zagleski took a day off from blackfishing with Elaine B. II out of Bahrs in Highlands to let the sea settle, but will be at it again in the morning.
The surf was still rough this morning, and also dirty after the hard south blow. However, the switch to a west wind should calm and clear it
Capt. Dave De Gennaro reports he's been having fine trolling for large stripers with white Mo-Jos and Tony Maja bunker spoons from his Hi Flier out of Barnegat.
