Great fishing for blues up to 16 lbs. and seabass to 5 lbs. !

by Capt Ted White 28 September 2010

Sorry for the lack of reports, overall the fishing has been very good. The bluefishing has been very good and we are back to fishing closer to home on our own ridge. The fish are 8-16 lbs. and we have been catching them on bait and jigs. There are plenty of false albacore for those who like to catch the speedy fighters. The wreck fishing has also been very good with the average angler taking home 10-12 keeper seabass and the sharpies doing better than that. Our pool fish for seabass ave averaged in the 3-4 lb. class but the guys from Brandywine Concrete had 3 fish over 5 lbs.! The seabass season is open till Oct. 11 so now is the time to et in on this great fishing, we have also been catching trigger fish, porgies, and blues so the variety is fun.
