Captain's Focus

Season starts off well !

by Capt Ted White 8 April 2012

We started this season off with some wreck fishing, it was only fair. First stop was good, the next two not good at all, fished from 100-140'. We were going to make one more stop but the wind died out off the beach so the anchoring would have been a PIA so angled to the beach hoping to get a crack at some bass and we did. Made 3 stops in about an hour and the guys jigged up 15 nice stripers, biggest about 20lbs.. It was pretty late so once they each had a bass we headed in, seems the bass are going to be here a while so if you want some spring striper action try it now!

Thanks to Chris Eastburn for getting this trip together, hope they all had a great time !
