Captain's Focus

Singing the blues, some about the fluke, none about the blues.

by Capt Ted White 29 July 2012
The bluefishing this past week has continued to stay consistently good. The fish are still a mix of 1-3lbs. and we are catching them on jigs. Nathan Weaver, Scott Nolt of Randy Nolt Construction, Lewis Allen and Jim Giovinazzo were all groups that did well both day and night on the blues. We had Mike Fedorko's family group out for a day of fluke fishing and while the weather and company were fine, the fishing was a bit slow. They managed a few keeper fluke and seabass but for whatever reason the fluking has yet to get rolling for us in the ocean.
