Big Blues still chomping and the seabass season starts good !

by Capt Ted White 24 September 2012
The blue fishing continues to be very good both day and night, the fish are averaging 6-12lbs.. The fluke season is winding down and saturday we managed to put together a nice catch for the Dan Devlin party. Friday was a bit slower with poor conditions. The Neil Weir party came down sunday and we decided to go for seabass on the reopening, there was plenty of wind, and plenty of fish. They did very well on only two stops, the keeper/short ratio was about 1-3 sometimes 1-4. The pool winner was a very nice 5.5lb fish caught by Dave.
