Captain's Focus

The fluking slowly getting better.

by Capt Ted White 19 August 2012
The past few days saw the fluking go up and down and the weather as well. thursday the fluke bit very well, Friday not so much, Saturday the weather man blew it wiht the wind predictions, but Sunday he got it right and the fish cooperated. Saturday we toughted it out but on;y managed a handful of seabass, we did catch alot of small weakfish but only a few of them were legal size. Bill Mitchell organized the annual Weber/Blake fluking trip, and he picked a good one. They did well with a couple dozen keepers up to 7 lbs. and over 80 shorts. Mixed in were some seabass and small blues. The younger Rick Weber took both first fish and biggest.
