Coastal flooding has been a problem lately due to all the north winds and very high tides. John Bushell posted a video this morning from Betty & Nick's Tackle in Seaside Park showing him driving through flooded streets there, though they are passable. That doesn't help fishing prospects as it will take longer for waters to clear.
Despite a gale warning for Wednesday, there appears to be a window of opportunity Tuesday morning. The Ocean Explorer is taking advantage of the light northeast morning forecast in order to sail for cod. Saturday is the next day with a hopeful weather prediction.
