We made the morning trip only today. As nice as it was not enough people showed up for the afternoon trip. There was a report of some jig fish so we started out doing that. Unfortunately the bite was over when we goy there. We still read them but they would not bite. We ran into Raritan Bay to fish with bait and only managed a few shorts. The fish are there but they will not bite. Hopefully they will start soon. As always we will keep on trying. Remember we might have to switch from jigs to bait so if you have two rods bring them or be ready to switch. We are half day fishing everyday making two trips for stripe bass (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
