Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 19

With the northeast winds and rain I did not make the morning trip. We were not sure if we where going to make the afternoon but the wind diminished and the rain stopped. A few people showed up and I told them the ocean would not be nice and we would have to fish in the bay. It turn out to be a pretty nice afternoon. We only caught a couple of keepers but there was plenty of shorts for everyone to catch. Everyone enjoyed the trip. The big fish of the trip was 7 lb 3 oz fluke caught by John from Hazlet. See his picture in the gallery. They are calling for less wind and no rain for tomorrow so come make a trip. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
