Captain's Focus

10/11/18: The opening of sea bass was not what we expected. High winds and rough seas were not forecasted. We caught some fish, a few had limits, but it was a struggle for others. Tuesday and Wednesday were about the same. It finally did get nice on Wednesday afternoon and we did a afternoon charter with the MATES School. It was really fun and boy, can those kids fish! Not one cell phone was at hand, just rod and reel. A good time was had by all, thanks Dave for organizing the trip.

Thursday and Friday are a blowout, but Saturday looks good. We have a change in the weather coming and we do expect the fishing to get better. We will be sailing every day next week. The Fall is right upon us and cool weather is coming, let's take advantage of it, it's time to fish!
