Captain's Focus

February 17th

Made our way out in a choppy, cold ocean this morning.  The air was cold and the water tempeture was between 35-37 degrees.  As the day went on the ocean got flatter and flatter.  The first 2 spots were pretty dull.  A ling here and there with a few short cod.  Our next spot made the day for us landing some keeper Cod up to 30lbs and a few ling in the mix.  For the water being so cold, it was decent life.  High hook had 3 nice Cod, some with 2 and some with one.  I'm pretty sure we had one angler on board that had 10-12 Ling as well.  Overall, it was a decent day!
