5/29 Good Striper fishing and new boat PB

This morning we had long time customer Paul Rubee on board. Several times a year, Paul charters the boat in hopes of catching a new personal best. Today his wish came true. Loaded the wells and got right to the grounds. Had fish rolling on the surface and action right away and Paul finally got the bite he has been waiting for. After a few minute battle, we slid the fish into the net and new it was his new pb and possibly the boats. After a few pics and a quick weight, we tried to revive the big girl, but unfortunately she was spent and we were unable to get her to go. We called it an early morning bass fishing and headed in to get an official weight at Fishermans Den North. Finally on the scale the fish tipped the scale to just shy of 56 pounds. Congrats Paul on a fish of a lifetime. With the morning still early we decided to try some fluking in the river, but could only come up with a few shorts with lousy conditions.
