Captain's Focus

Another beautiful day on the Ocean.

Headed back out to where we had very good fishing yesterday, not much current but a nice drift. Picked away each drift with a couple nice keepers & some nice Sea Bass. No where near the bite we had yesterday but we hung in there waiting for the change. Got mugged so we got the hell out of there in search of a better bite.

Found some action with only a handful of keepers so we left that also. After the change the under current ran hard to the North, picked a few more fish and lost the Fluke of the year.

Big John fishing Starboard side hooked into a monster, as the fish came up it got tangled in a rig that was stuck on the bottom, unfortunately it was braid and as the boat drifted away, the braid cut through Johns line sending it back to the bottom to fight another day. I saw the white belly as the fish came to the top and turned over, without a doubt would have certainly been a New Monthly pool winner, Double digit for sure.

Tony Mulero, Paterson N.J. finally landed his beauty at 5 Pounds 8 Ounces to take the daily pool, Congrads my friend you have certainly paid your dues!!!!  Megan and several other customers had two nice keepers by the end of the day but it certainly wasn't easy!

Don't let the weatherman keep you home tomorrow, any rain will come in the afternoon when we have finished the day catching.

CHARTERED FRIDAY & SATURDAY THIS WEEK.   Back at it tomorrow,

Capt. Ron
