8/24 FLUKE- Big poolfish today

Big poolfish today. We fished a couple of different spots in morning and did catch keepers and shorts almost everywhere. It was not red hot fishing but we were able to pick most of the day at some really nice fish. Average was 1 to 3 keepers a drift with the best having 7 keepers. Dennis was the star today with his poolfish at 9.7lbs he also had a few more nice keepers caught a bucktails. We had a 7lber and a few 4 to 5lbers. Overall it was decent fishing. Last night we had a nice crowd on for the 4pm trip and had the action right away with the shorts and few keepers mixed in after we left that area we headed north and put a few more nice keepers in the boat. Best drift of the night saw 5 nice keepers and some shorts. Poolfish was caught by Owen Ross and was a nice 4lber. It should be a decent week of fish because the wind has shifted to the west. We will see what happens. See everyone onboard. Thanks Capt.Mike
