Fishing Report

Really pretty morning…very chilly though…Temps in the low 20 s….Didnt stop guys from fishing,,we had a decent day…Lots of bites every where we stopped….And the blackfish were along with the perch….Biggest problem we had today was getting away from the smaller fish…High hooks had two dozen shorts…Guys that were jigging did best,,,up in the bow even in that wind…1 oz jigs tipped with a small piece of crab was the way to go…Hermit crabs worked good to….High hooks limited out and if you had the touch you had at least a few keepers along with numerous shorts…Some guys didnt fare well,,and had only shorts but overall if you worked at it and had a some luck you did Ok…Tomorrow looks great,,,,get your small, light jigs ready…Those big jigs I have been seeing come on board do not work..so think light and small and you will catch fish…See ya for coffee…We are fishing…
