Aug 7 2013 8/7 Fluke Report & Porgy Update Well we had a great group of guys out from the Perth Amboy Fire Department for a day of fluking. Conditions were not good with the south wind blowing against the tide but the guys fished hard and had action with shorts and a slow pick of keepers all day. The fishing was not as good as yesterday but still some nice fish were caught. High hook had 3 keepers some had 2 and poolfish was a 5lber. Overall it was still a great trip. Now on to the porgies. I have been getting alot of calls when we are going to start porgy fishing so we are starting Wed Aug 21st. Trips will be sailing every Wed at 7am to 3pm for now. I have not decided on the afternoon porgy trips yet but we will be doing them very soon. We are sailing tomorrow and Fri OPEN BOAT at 7:30am also Fri evening at 5pm. See everyone onboard.
