Sunday 3/23 Fishing Report

We got out on our first trip of 2014 yesterday and it was nice to see so many familiar faces that we haven't seen in a while.  Weather was cool but the ocean was calm and as planned Capt. Tony headed staight out to the Mudhole, fishing wrecks in 160'+ deep.   The water temp was still very cold only 39 degrees.  He had life on most drops,  not good fishing but we had some life.  We ended up catching a few keeper Codfish one of which was over 20 pounds some short Cod and a couple dozen Ling.  Some people definitely got skunked but some brought home a tasty dinner.

Next trips are scheduled for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3/28, 3/29 & 3/30 at 6am weather permitting.
