Weekend 6am Marathon Reports

Saturday 1/12 Capt. Tony started off inshore today where there has been some Cod caught lately.  There were some Cod biting, some keepers and shorts but not enough to stay with.  He fished deeper as the day went on picking away at the Ling but with many dogfish and eels mixed in.  Most ended up with 15 to 25 Ling and there were 7 or 8 keeper Cod sprinkled around tohe boat.

Sunday 1/13  was the day of the dogs. It just seemed like they invaded overnight.  They were annoying yesterday but today they were brutal.  There were fish on every drop but after a few minutes the sharks would taken over, making it difficult to get to the Ling.  Most were able to get a few ling past the dogs and few may have had up to15 or 20. The Gulp baits worked the best.

We did not sail Monday 1/15.
