Captain's Focus

April 30th, 2013

Captain Lenny headed out North of our inlet today with a handful of people on-board. When I spoke with him at 10:00 a.m. it was already a full on slaughter! They had 20 keeper stripers and some throwbacks, all jigging. By the end of the day, limits were had by all and those who had their bonus tag caught them as well. We had some nice drifts today and read the fish very well from mid bottom to being stacked up under the bottom of the boat. Hammered gold 47's, 67's & croc's worked best. Our pool winner was Brian Garcia from Berkeley Heights, NJ with a 22 lb striper. For all of you who keep asking me when to come fishing, now is the time!

Sailing daily for stripers from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. For more information, please call (732) 681-0030.
