Captain's Focus

June 8th, 2012

Tonight, we started off up to the NE where we have been having some outstanding fishing. We had fish on immediately once the anchors were tight. We would get shots of 4-6 on at a time, the fish would disappear for 5 minutes and then have 4-6 on again. We continued to pick at the fish this way until around 10:30 p.m. and then the bite died completely. We then decided to take a run to the SE as we got a report of some fish being caught. Got anchored up and instantly had 5-8 on until it was time to head home. The fish were very mixed in size from 3-14 lbs. High hook on the night had 21 blues. The pool winner was the Branath family with a 14 lb blue.
