Captain's Focus

April 30th, 2012

Captain Lenny started off this morning catching the blues really good with an occasional striper. The fish were on top chasing live bait . 4 & 6 oz jigs worked well. Mid day, the stripers took over for awhile and we had a few good drifts where we had shots and picked away on them. The fish then went too far east so we ran back up on the beach and got in to very good blue fishing at the end of the day. There were plenty of stripers and blues around to keep everyone happy. At the end of the day, we had over 50 keeper stripers and lots of blues with many limits. Our pool winner was Dennis Newcombe from Wall, NJ with a 34.6 lb striper. I will post pictures from yesterday and today later when I receive them.

AFTERNOON STRIPERS EVERY FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
