Last night blue fishing we went out to the east again and did a lot of driving looking for the fish. Found a solid reading and anchored up and had fish on instantly. We ended up holding 1-3 on with shots of 3-5. All the fish were in the 10-12 lb range. All in all it was a good night of fishing for everyone onboard. Our pool winning fish was a 14 lb blue.
Today fishing took a step backward from yesterday. We tried out east where we have been fishing and it was no good. We then tried up along the edge of the mud hole near the oil wreck and just a handful of fish were caught in that area. We hope to be able to look for some jig fish along the beach tomorrow.
