Captain's Focus

LBI Fishing Report Sunday 10/13/2012: The seas we 100% better then last week. We started on a troll looking for a warm water break but it was hard to come by. Set anchor and put out a slick. A tough night laid ahead. We put a couple in the box, got some mahi mahi and lost a few more tuna. Morning came and again no bite. Captain Brant was heading upstairs getting ready to pull the plug, and BAM, fish on. We put four more in the box, lost a few more, but had fish to take home. Chris battled a real big fish for quite awhile before it snapped the line. Dan Kelly had a beauty, brought it to the gaff, then took a break.. Beautiful yellows in the 70 - 80 lb area. Next week is our last scheduled tuna trip, there may be room, call Captain Frank. ...Check our schedule page for our special 10 hour trips coming up..
