LBI Fishing Report Sunday 8/13/2012: First let me thank all of you who e-mailed me with your thoughts, on the passing of my Father. Ah fishing, although I have not been on the boat, I have been kept somewhat informed. Last week there were two stand out fish caught a 7.9 and an 8.2 pound fluke. The 8 pounder was on a rental rod, by a 12 year old in the stern. (anyone want to buy a rental rod) Fishing has definetly gotten better in the last week. Schools of trigger fish have made there way to our waters, and we have caught a bunch. When you pull in your lines, to check your bait, do it slowly, you might be rewarded with a trigger fish or two. At times there were 6 to 10 fish following the bait to the top, waiting to strike at it . Now all we need is a good drift and a few more door mats, and maybe even an area rug to come over the rails. And wouldn't it be nice if you were the one to catch it?. Good luck, tightlines and hope to see you soon. ...Sal
