Regretfully, I guess the Fluke are about done. Fished Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and totaled 1 Fluke. Wish it could have lasted just a few more days. But, all is not lost as the Seabass closure has replenished the wrecks and we had 3 solid days of nice Seabass fishing. The best is yet to come on this. As a bonus we have been getting into some Bonito on the wrecks.
Of some interest to me is the fact that we have been catching some larger Seabass which are still female. Earlier in the year, even some small fish under keeper size were male. Now, we are catching some Seabass over 15 inches that are still female. Anyone with any insight, I would love to hear from you.
